Europees yakisugi hout
Eurosugi (Europese Yakisugi) …wordt gemaakt van de naaldhoutsoort Cryptomeria japonica en is afkomstig uit FSC-gecertificeerde bossen uit Europa. Het hout wordt diep gebrand volgens de “Shou Sugi Ban” (aka Yakisugi)- techniek waardoor een mooie diep zwarte koollaag ontstaat. De koollaag heeft een bijzonder craquelé en heeft in het zonlicht een prachtige glans. Door de gecontroleerde oppervlakte verbranding wordt de duurzaamheid verhoogd en verdubbeld de levensduur van het hout.
